And then there are journeys that leave a mark on your heart forever.
In September 2022, my husband Eric and I packed our suitcases for what would become one of the most meaningful adventures of our lives. Just months earlier, I had finished my battle with stage IV uterine cancer. Europe wasn’t simply our next destination—it was my reminder that life is precious, dreams are worth chasing, and hope can carry you farther than you ever imagined.
Our itinerary would take us through Italy, the breathtaking Amalfi Coast, the Greek Islands, the colorful villages of Cinque Terre, the majestic Swiss Alps, and finally the charming canals of Amsterdam.
At the time, we simply thought we were taking an incredible vacation.
Looking back now, I realize it became so much more than that.
Travel has a way of changing you. It teaches patience, sparks curiosity, and reminds you just how beautiful and diverse our world truly is. Every destination introduced us to new people, unforgettable landscapes, incredible food, and moments that we’ll treasure forever.
Some memories were carefully planned. Others happened by complete surprise. Those unexpected moments often became our favorites.
As I begin sharing this journey with you, I hope these stories inspire you to dream a little bigger, explore a little farther, and maybe even book that trip you’ve been putting off.
